The Informacon of Thomas Kavanagh< no role > taken then Oath
the 31th. day of December 1696 who lodgeth att the signe
of the Three Kings in Bloomsbury

This Informant sayeth That on the 17th: day of Aprill 1695 he was
Marryed to one Mr holders Daughter a Merct: of the Citty of London
whose brother John Holder< no role > some time after comeing from Spaine where
he had been imployed as a Factor for his Father for severall yeares
and being called to an Accot. by his said Father for many Thousand
pounds which he had of his Fathers in his hands in order to have
disposed of some part thereof to this Informt: wife and the rest of
his Children the said John Holder< no role > being displeased att this and his sisters
Marryage used all meanes to obteine a divorce between this Informt:
and his wife which proveing ineffectuall who the said John Holder< no role >
procured senrall psons to sweare Cliping and Coming against this Informt:
whereupon this Informt: was comitted in October left to the Batehouse and
some time after was brought to the Goale of Newgate and dureing his
being there John [..] an Thomas Bush< no role > and Jones a Victualler
in Russell Court or Street war Covent Garden came to this Informt.
and told him that they came from John Holder< no role > who they said had no
designe upon this Informtshislife but only to procure a divorsefrombetween him and his wife and
that if this Informant would leave this Kingdome and retire into France
the laid John Holder< no role > would pay him Five hundred pounds whereupon
this Informant told them the goeing out of England into France or the
Attempt thereof would bee hazardous to this Informt: and if taken in
the Attempt would render his life in hazard or something to that effect upon which they the
said Eagan, Bush, and Jones told this Informt that they could easily
convey him thither for as much as that they were the psons that conveyed
