The humble Peticon of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Andrews Holborne London

Sheweth

That yor. Petrs. have many Poore to pvide for being scituate in
the Suburbs of this City And not able to raise sufficient sumes of
money amongst themselves to releive them their Parish being soe
greate and their Poore soe many Notwithstanding their Assessemt.
is greater then heretofore Yett the charge of their Poore is above
the said Assessemt. As the same upon full examinacon hath many
times appeared to divers Aldermen of this City Appointed to heare
the same And their Poore dailey increaseing upon them.

Their humble Suites therefore unto yor. Honors. and
Worpps. is that you will be favourably pleased to
grant unto them the contribucon of seaven Pounds
from severall Parishes within this this City for & towardes
the releife of their Poore As was last yeare given
them Or such other allowance as to yor. Honors and
Worshipps shall seeme meete.
