Whereas Complaint was this day made unto us two of
their Maties Justices of ye peace within this City and
liberties (Whereof one is of ye Quorum) by the Church
-Wardens and Overseers of ye Poor of the Parish
of St. Faith London That Elizabeth Tale< no role > widow
with Susanna Tale< no role > her daughter a young child
is lately come into their Parish & likely to become
chargeable to them if not timely prevented And
forasmuch as it doth appear unto us by
the oath of Elizabeth Nichols< no role > wife of Roger
Nichols
< no role > of St. Butolphs Bishosgate London That
Joshua Tale< no role > late husband of the Said Elizabeth
and father of the said Susannah was for
above three months before May 1685
legally settled as a lodger or Sojourner in
The house of Francis Babbs< no role > in Bethlehem
in the said Parish of St. Butolph Bishopsgate
London where he continued till the time of
his death

These are therefore in their Maties
names to require Gen forthwith upon Sight
hereof to remove passe and Comedy the said
Elizabeth Tale< no role > and Susannah Tale< no role > to the
said Parish of St. Butolphy Bishopsgate and the
their deliver to the Churchwardens & Overseers
of ye Poor of ye said Parish some or one of
them whom we do hereby require to receive
and provide for the same according to Law
And this Shall be ye. Warrant Given under
our hands and Seals this 11th day of June
1694
