This Examint Isaac Skellum< no role > being duely examined
doth say yt yesterday the 26th. instant he went to ye house
of one Wm Bridgeman< no role > a Shoemaker in Castle yard in
Holborne and there Spake with one Mathew Skellum< no role >
his Brother who a Jorneyman in ye Same House & bid
him ye said Mathew Skellum< no role > to goe to ye first Leather
Sellers Shop beyond Woodstreet end in Cheapside (Mr
Tho: Parrotts< no role > Shop meaning) & there this Examt. bade
ye sd. Mathew Skellum< no role > to Ash to See Some Oyled buck
Skinns to make breeches of & to pretend to buy them
& ys Examt. bade ye Said Mathew to tamble the Skinns
upon ye Counter & told him yt he ys Examint Isaac
Skellum< no role > did presently follow his Brother Mathew
wth. Some goods in his Cloth wch. he delivered to one
of Mr. Parrots Sonns & he ys Examt Seeing the folks of the
Shop busied did take away tenn [..] of ye Ogled bulk
Skinns that Say tumbled on ye Counter & Carried them
away noe pson in ye Shop being him & thenke this [..]
Examt. Carried them to one Mr. Green's house one of ye
Artsmasters of Bridewell & Sold the Sd. tennShop
buck skinns unto Mrs. Green for twenty Shillings
receiving thereof Seventeen Shillings & six pence in [..]
he this Examt. Saith yt he being used to sell such things
as he Stole on yt house to MrGreen Which he
he alwayes Sold good penny worths unto because Mr.
Green nor his Wife never used to examine him how
he came by the sd. goods but gave him ready money
for them this Examint. Saith also yt abt. Michaelmas
last 1693 he Sold ye first pcell of Skinns to Mr Green
aforesd. who asked him not how he came by them but his
Wife Mrs. Green bade ye. examint. att any time when
he had Such goods to Sell to bring them there & he Should
have money for them & this Examt. Saith that one
day he being at ye said Mr Greens house to Sell Some of
turn over
