This Examinant further upon his Oath saith that a few Days before the
under mentioned robbery at the Shop of George Bernfleet in Saville Passage
was Committed Pocock went into the Shop under Pretence of purchasing
a Gold Seal that he might have an opportunity of examining the said Ship and saith that on these
night a very Short time before the robbery Pocock went into the Shop and bought a Street of Cartridge
Paper in order to examine wether he could discove'd that the Partys Slept there and judged from
thence wether they were likely to come out This Informant further saith that he and Harding
frequently met at Pococks Lodging for the Purpose of consulting together respecting the robbery
This Informant further upon his Oath saith that about the hour or eight of the night of the
Twenty sixth of January last this Informant in Company with Pocock and Harding went and
watched about the Shop of George Brnfleet< no role >
in Saville Passage
for the Purpose of seeing him go
out and about the hour of Nine he went out and all three of them watched him to his House in
barnaby Street
were they left Harding to watch him in case he should return to the shop
he Reynolds and Pocock then went to the shop, when Pocock open'd the door with a Pick Lock
Key they beth went in when he Reynolds thereout Twenty Eight Gold seals, and
Eleven Metal seals that Pocock took several different things and has he run along threw
them away being pursued by the Person of the shop Harding having failed in giving them proper
notice in time, of his coming by which means they were surprized and Pursued when
this Informant was taken with part of the things stolen in the said Shop upon him
This Informant further saith that when he and Pocock were Pursued he ran along
Saville Row
adn Pocock turned down the second turing of the right hand which he believes
called Clifford Street
