The Information of Robert Anderson< no role > of No. 30 Princes Street
Rothersthe in the County Surry Taylor Taken
Upon Oath before me Robert Smith< no role > Esqr . this First
day of December 1789

Who saysYesterdaylast Night about Twelve O' Clock he was going
along last Smith field near a place called the Darkenbrey he was acosted
by the prisoners present (who say their Names are Elizabeth Hughes< no role > and
[..] Hannah George< no role > ) who took hold of his Arm one on one side and the other on
the other side and led him into a house that Prisoner George went< no role > out and
Shut the Door Prisoner Hughes then put her Hand into his Breeches pocket
he tookouthold of her hand and puled it outof his pocketand then fell in
his pocket and found she had taken Guinea she then took hold of his
Watch Cheam and Attempted to putit outhis Watch out of his fob but he
with Dificulty prevented her that he desired her to give him his Guinea
Prisoner said she had not seen it that Prisoner George then came in
when he asked her for the Guinea she said she know nothing about
it and desired him to get out of her House they then all went out
together Prisoners went down a dark passage and he followed them
and asked them for his Money Prisoner Hughes then sliped away
and George said come a long with me and I will give You fifteen
Shillings he said he should be glad to see it but she never offered to
give him any that an Officer came up and took him and George both
into Custody that he Aquainted the Officer what had happened
and lodged his Watch as a Security for his Appearance in the Morning
he is confident he had the Guinea when he went into said House and
that the Prisoners present are the persons who [..] led him
intosaid Housethe same

Thomas Olive< no role > says having an Information that Persons
Hughes had Committed a Robery he Apprehended her about two o' clock
this Morning and lodged her in the Watch house that she was searched
and only one Shilling found in her pocket

Prisoner Hughes says that Anderson made her a present of the
Guinea and was upon the bed together about two Hours that Prisoner George knows
nothing about.

Prisoner George says she knows nothing about it.
