Constable of the Night & Officers thought it most proper to.
detain the sd. Charles Pendlebury< no role > and the Prisoner

Thomas Strahan< no role > for himself that he is the
Watch house Keeper belongg. to St. Giles's that on Monday
Morning the Ninth Day of November Instant about
Two o'Clock in the Morng, Charles Pendlebury< no role > and the
Prisoner Sarah Sparkes< no role > were brought upon a Charge to
the Watch house and a Suspicion arising that the Prisoner
had robbed the sd. Charles Pendlebury< no role > he searched her
and found in one Pockett nine Guineas in Gold four
Shillings & Six pence in Silver & three half Pence in Copper
afterwds. the Prisoner was taken into a Back Room and further
searched when the Purse now Produced was found upon
her

John Briston< no role > for himself saith that he is one of
the Constable belongg. to St. George Bloomsbury that he
now attendg. at the Watch house on the Night of the Eighth
[..] Day of November Instant that on the Ninth
Day of sd. November abt. two o'Clock in the Morning
Charles Pendlebury< no role > & the Prisoner Sarah Sparkes< no role > was
brought in upon a Charge that a Suspicion arising of
the Prisoner having robbed the sd. Charles Pendlebury< no role >
he assisted in searching her and found the Silk Purse
now Produced upon her
