Who upon their several Oaths say and first the said

for himself saith that betwixt the Hours of
seven & eight o Clock on Sunday Evening the Fourth of October
Instant as he was walking down Holborn near the End of
Chancery Lane

Notice struck him violent Blow upon his Head & immediately
ran away amongst the Stand of Coaches in the Street
but the immediately pursued the Prisoner who for some
Time secreted himself by getting under the pole [..]

pass by him & three or four other persons that he turned

strike the said

a Blow as he thinks upon the Head that

immediately pursued the Prisoner

him into Custody & with the Assistance of the Patroles took
