Confessed to him that he was the Person who broke into it, and
that he got down the Area, and broke open the Window Shutter
then lifted up the Window and entered the house, and that he
took thereout four aprons, three Handkerchiefs, a Waistcoat, and
a Hat which he then had on his head, which hat this Deponent
now has in his Possession, And further said that he sold
the Articles before mentionedforfor four Shillings in the
Minories And this Deponent further saith that
the said John Millett< no role > told him he broke into the said
House last Tuesday was a Week between the hours of Twelve
and One

Thirdly this deponent John Walbey< no role >
upon his Oath Saith that he is an assistant to Mr. Powell
in South Audley Street< no role > , and lives in the house that went
to Bat on Monday last Was a Week between Eleven and
Twelve he then saw that the Windows and doors of the said
House were call fast, that between Seven and Eight in the
Morning he was informed by the maid Servant that the
Kitchin had been broke into when this informant
upon Examining found that one of the outside Window
Shutters was broke and the Sash lifted up so that any
Person might come in, up on looking further missed three
Handkerchiefs, Four Aprons an Waistcoat, a Hat and some
Stockings which had been feloniously taken and Carried
away therein that the person now present who calls himself
John Millett< no role > lived with Mr. Powell as a Footboy and
was from his Service about Six or eight Weeks ago
that upon the said John Millett< no role > being apprehended
last right this Informant was called up and went to
St. Georges Watchhouse and that since his having been so
apprehended the said John Millett< no role > hath acknowledged
and Confessed to this informant that he broke into the
house of Mr. Powell at the time aforesaid and carried
away the things abovementioned all of which he sold
