The Voluntary Examination of John

Who saith that knows William Bryant< no role > Senior
of Old Street Road Labourer William Bryant< no role > Junior
of Turnmill Street Labourer and Richard Bryant< no role > of
Old Street Road aforesaid LabourerThat last [..]
Friday was sevenight about eleven oClock in the morning
he went to the House of the said William Bryant< no role >
Senior when said Bryant delivered to this Examinant
the Bank note for nine Guineas more produced and
desired him to make the most of it he could, and
bring him what he got for itThat at this time
he observed said Bryant have in his Possession between
two boards in his Room either twenty or twenty three
other Bank Notes some of which this Examinant read
That said Bryant then put the said Notes in his
Shed observing at same time that he had them in Care
for his Son the said William Bryant< no role > JuniorThat
a few days afterwards said William Bryant< no role > Senior [..] told
this Examinant in his House that his son William and Smith had Sold 250
Poundsworth of said Notes [..] to Mrs.
Harris of Old Street Road for NinetyGuineasPounds-and that
said Notes [..] had been [..] got out of the Stourbridge
Waggon [..] by his said Son William
and [..] Thomas Smith< no role > [..]
