Who being upon Oath severally say, and first the said
John Bellingham< no role >
for himself says, that about a Quarter past 5 o'Clock
this Evening, as he was standing in the Croud in the Pit passage
of Drury Lane
theatre intending when the Door was open to go
into the same, he perceived James Dawes< no role >
now present close to him
on his night hand, and another man close to him on his left, wth
of whom pressed him exceedingly hard, at which instant he perceived
a person hand at his Job, where his Gold watch was and another
person hand at his left hand Breeches pocket, in which was
contained about Twenty three Guineas, in a purse -- That Informant
endeavoured to put his Hands down, in Order to secure his
said properly, but being so pressed by the said two persons
he was rendered Sneapable, that in a few seconds the said
two persons, left him when he instantly discovered, his
Gold Watch, Gold Chain, two Gold Seals, and his said Money
gone, and cried out, that he had been robbed, at which

Assistance and further says that he verily believes that said Dawes, feloniously
Mole his said Watch Chain, and Seals, And the said Patrick

for himself says, that he was standing at about
the Distance of a Yard or two from the said John Billingham< no role >
at this time and upon, the said Billingham's calling out that he was robbed, he pushed forward and
seized the said Dawes, who stood on his right and one
