being Sworn upon his Oath saith That he was
called upon to View the Body of New Born
Female Infant but found no Marks of Violence
on the Body except only that the Navel
String had not been Tyed from which Dept
Concludes the Mother must have been
delivered of such Child by herself That upon opening
the Chest and taking out the Lungs and
Makeing the usual Experiment the Lungs
Floated from which Deponent Concludes that
such infant was Born alive and as a
Corrobarating Circumstance Deponent observed
on the Blankett the marks of a Discharge
from the Anus which would not have taken
place unless the Child had been Born
alive as this Deponent verily believes
