taken the 21 April. 1788

Eleanor Whealand< no role > wife of Richd. Whealand< no role > being
Sworn says that she lives in the Coal Yard Drury Lane at
John Smiths< no role > , that about 8 o' Clock Saturday Night She Lock'd
her Room door, & likewise put apad lock on it & went to
her Cellar where She Sells Greens That about 11 o' Clock
the Same Night, She going to the aforesaid Appartment
found the door Broke open that there were Two Chests
of Drawers in the Room that the Lock of each Drawer
was Broke open & the following things were taken
out of the Same. One Feather Bed 5 Sheets
Two Bed Quilts one Cotton Gown One Petticoat
Three Shifts one Black Silk Cloak one Shawl and
one half Do One Neck Handkerchief one Muzlin Handr.
Two Cotton Handks: a Coat & Waistcoat Nine Shirts four
pair of Cotton Stockins a Mans Flat one Bed Gown
a Mahogony Tea Chest in which was Two Guineas [..]
½ with Some Duplicates & Two watch Chains one Looking Glass
Two Brass Candlesticks one pair of Breeches me Table Cloth
a Qurtily of Child Bed Linnen Towels & Napkins &
George Winch< no role > Sworn Says that
Yesterday evening He recd. An Information of the aforesaid
Robbery that he made Inquiry after theRobberypersons
who committed at & on the evening was Inform'd that the
Bed was at No. 7 in Parkers Lane that he then went to
the said place with Eleanor Whealand< no role > where they found the
Bed in a Back Parlour which immediatly said has her's
That Sarah Smith< no role > was in the Room & said She had Bought
the Bed for Fifteen Shillings & a Glass for one Shilling
of a Man in light Collourd Cloaths, That he then went to
Her Appartments where he found the said Glass & Whealand now
