Stepney in the Co: of Middx ShipCalker
Caulker & Jane Winter< no role > of Whitefiars
Fleet St. London Widow taken before
me Sir Benjn. Hammett< no role > Knt. &
Alderman one of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the City of London
at Guildhall in the said City; & first
the Informant John Hughes< no role > for himself
saith that at he was a coming fromthe
Cannon Street in company with the
St. Jane Winter< no role > about 7 o'Clock in the
Eveng of yesterday the 21st. Febry Instant
he was knocked downfromby some
Person or Persons behind him one of
whom threw himself a top of him; that
he felt his Watch go from him &
that he usrose up as soon as he
recovered himself,saidhe cried out he had g [..]
[..] my Watcher & laid fast hold of him
by the Collar & did not quit livesquite his watch
tell he had assistance from the Informant
Jane Winter< no role > &thattook him to the
Shop of Mr. Holland of St. Paul,
Church Yard Oilman when a Constable
was sent for & he waspropsecured
& delivered the Cane to the [..]
& the Cane now produced by the Constable
is his Cane
