James Gray< no role > of Went worth Street Whitechappel Virtualler on Oath says
on Saturday morning last about the Hour of Two he went to Bed first seeing
The back door fast bolted on the Inside That he [..] Alarmed the same
morning between the Hours of Seven and Eight that his house house had
been broken open or Robbed which he cannot SagSays he got up went
down Stairs and found the said Door off it Hinges and the passage
floor broke up so at to permit some person to get into his Liquor Collar
and on his Examining the same he found Three Five Gallon Casks containing Aurrised
Bitters and Common Gin and [..] One Two Gallon Cast containing Rum
messingSays his Till in the Bar was brooke open in which were some halfpence
how many he cannot tell And that a Cast of Gin of the same size and Marks
as the Cash produced he was robbed of [..] as aforesaid and that the
small Cash produced it his had Rum in it who he had of Richard & Co and
marked R. & S and that one Quest Bottle with pepper mint in it likewise
was taken away as aforesaid. And that suck a Basket as the Basket produced
the property ofhisOne of His Customers was under one of the Benches in the Tap
Room over night
