Middlesex to wit

The Information of William Brittle< no role > taken before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the peace in
and for the said County.

Who being upon Oath saith that he lives in
Half Moon court Wapping that on Sunday night
the Twelfth of August instant about Nine oClock
as he was coming home to his house in Half
moon Court aforesaid a person now present who
Calls himself Nicholas Lilly< no role > violently
assaulted him by running against him
and at the same time Seizing hold of his Watch
Chair which suspended from his fob
feloniously [..] took and Carried away the
same together with his Watch that upon finding he had been assaulted
and Robbed be Immediately exerted himself
and seized hold of the said Nicholas Lilly< no role >
and owing to the Exertions of the said Lilly
to get away from and out of his Custody
they both fell down together but still this
Informt. never quitted the hold of him And
this Informt upon his Oath saith that the
said Nicholas Lilly< no role > is the person who feloniously
Assaulted and by force and violence robbed
him of his Watch Chair and Seals as aforesd.
