The several Informations of James Mc. Daniel< no role >
a Watchman and John Tomkinson< no role > Taken the
28th. day of July 1787 .

Who upon their oaths severally say and first the said
James Mc. Daniel for himself saith That about
the hour of one oClock this Morning being upon his
duty in Gower Street he met a Boy now in Custody
who says his Name is Thomas Inwill< no role > and upon
Searching him he found in his Coat pocket Two Chissells
a Hanner and a plane and suspecting he had Stolen
them he Conveyed him to the Watch house

The said John Tomkinson< no role > for himself
Saith That he is a Carpenter That the Tools now
prodused were Stolen from a House Built and now
finishing in Gower Street near Bedford Square
That the plane and one of the Chissells are his property
and the other Chissell the property of Rowland Fraser< no role >
and the Hammer is the property of John Gonges< no role >
his Brother Workman
