The Examination of Michael Flyn< no role >
Charged on Suspicion of Felony

Who saith he is a Waterman & lives at Portsmouth that on Saturday the 10th day of March
Instant between Ten and Eleven o Clock in the
Evening being then at the Cross Keys in Grave
Church Street Richd.LlyodLong< no role > came [..] there
and Informed him that Mr Desmond wanted
him this Examinant at the Black horse and
Crown on Tower Hill that he went with
the said Richard Long< no role > there where he saw
Mr Minzies Mr Welch Mr Desmond Mr. Linery
and two Portsmouth Watermen Drinking together
that he called for a Pint of Beer and Sat down
by himself on a Chest and Drank part of
his Beer when Desmond informed him that he
should not want himthat he should notthis Examinant
want himthat Night on the Business he sent
for him it being near twelve o'Clock upon
which he sat down & finished his Beer
and called for another Pint that he Stopped until
Mr Minzie said he was Robbed of his purse
That he proposed to Mr Minzes to Shut the Door
and search every Body in the House but he Minzey would
not have it done and began to beat every
Body in the House that Minzey and his
Company continued Drinking about half an
hour after he said he was RobbedThe
Land lady then said that if Mr Minzey would not
payforthe Reckoning she would send him
