this 18th. day of April 1786

Who being on Oath says that on Thursday last
the 13th. instant about three o'Clock William Wynne< no role >
a
Coachman
now in Custody, his Wife accompanied by
another Man came to this Informants House in Newcastle
Street
aforesaid when said Wynne told this Informant
that he would be obliged to him to lend him Five
Shillings-thatwhen Informant replied that it was a Holiday
and therefore could not touch Money but that if he
would put his Hand in Informants pocket he would find
a few shillings - that said Wynnes Wife put her hand
into Informants pocket and pulled out eight shillings
when Wynne wanted to return three saying that he wanted
only five which Informant refused to take - that before
this, Informant observed said Wynne and his Companion
go to the Fire and burn some papers but what they were
this Informant cannot say - that said Wynne desired leave
to leave a Box with Informant, when his wife produced
the Box with its Contents delivered by this Informant
the same day to Major Weldon - that this Informant never
saw or had in his possession any Bond or Bonds whatever
out of said box
