and for the said County this Eighth day
of February 1786
This Examinant upon his Oath saith that on
saturday the fourth day of February instant in Company
with several other persons he went at about the hour of
eight of the Clock in the Evening to the house of Henry Bridges< no role >
the Prisoner situate in Cooks Gardens
Haggerstone
in
the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the said County
they having received Information that Coining was
carried on in the said House that this Informant got over
the fence and went to the door of the House that a Woman
came out at the door and at the same time this Informant
saw two Men in the Kitchen who made their Escape
one of which men is the prisoner Henry Bridges< no role >
the other
is not yet taken This Informant then went into the House
and there found the Evidence William Parsons< no role >
a Quantity
of Counterfeit Half pence was on the Table and in the
middle Room another parcel in a small basket
This Examinant and the other Officers then [..] went
into the Cellar and there found the Fly Press and other
[..] Tools and impliments fixed for the purpose of
Coining And [..] further saith that the next morning having received
information that the prisoner Henry Bridges< no role >
was at the
Queens Head Public House
in Caroline Court
Saffron Hill
this Examinant in Company with Jonathan Redgrave< no role >
went
there and found the said Henry Bridges< no role >
in Bed and
being told to get up he said he could not as he had
hurt his Leg and this Examinant [..] verily believes
