for the Accident I thought it had been you "That
Davis desired a Doctor might be sent for - That he
staid there about an Hour And said he was sorry
that it had happened - That Informant staid in
the Room untill seven oClock the next morning
but does not recollect any King else that Davis [..]
said - That Davis came in and out several
times in the Course of the Night to see how the deceased
was But after his Death he came no more - That
he hath knownthe deceasedDavis about Three weeks
That he is Landlordof theor Rent Gatherer of the
House where Informant Lodger which is next Door
but one to his own That this Informant became
acquainted with him at Mrs Anquish's - That
last Saturday about Eleven oClock in the Morning
Informant was at Anguish's and Davis brought
some Coals over to Anguish's - That when Informant
came down Stairs Davis said to him Sam I'll give
you a Toss for a Pot of Beer "That they toss'd up
and Informant won That Davis told the Girl who
brought the Pot of Beer from the Alehouse That he
(Davis) would pay for it by and by - That they drank
the Beer and Informant then went about his
Business - That about four oClock the same
afternoon Informant was standing at the Door and
Mrs Anguish called him over and said "Saw my
Husband is going to the Justices to see if he can find
out these Thieves" That they all went to Mr Daniels
a Publick House near - That soon afterwards a
Gentleman (a Stranger) came in And then Davis
came in also That Davis Joined with them in
Drinking and after Drinking Three Pots of Beer Davis
said he would have his Pot, which was accordingly
