Whobeingsaith that he is Labourer
and lodges at Mr.
Hicks's the Whittington and Cat Alehouse
in Whitechapel
-That on
Thursday Evening last he was at the Sun Alehouse
in Saint Catherines
with a person who is called Jack and is an Irish Sailor but
whose other Name he does not know and another person now
present who calls himself Frederick Daniel Lucas< no role >
That said Lucas proposed to this Examinant and said Jack
to go out a Robbing which they concented to and immediately
went together on the Edgesan Road
-That they stopped a Man on
Horseback end robbed him of his Watch and three shillings in
Money-That they afterwards stopped a Man in a little Cart
whom they robbed of one shillings and six pence-That they then came
to Town together-That the next Morning they all three met
at the Sun Alehouse
aforesaid and agreed to Pawn [..] the
said Watch-That they went to [..] Pawnbrokers in
Houndsditch
and whilst said Lucas went in and pawned
the said Watch, this Examinant and said Jack waited
in the Street-That said Lucas said he had pawned the said
Watch for one Guinea and [..] divided it amongst them,
each of them having seven shillings
And this Examinant further faith that yesterday afternoon
he was at the said Sun Alehouse
in Company with said Lucas
