Oath Saith that on Tuesday Morning last he missed a
Pocket Book Containing a Bank Note of the Value of £20 No.
either 8370 or 8269 out of his Lodgings, that on Sunday
Morning following this Informant Suspected the Prisoner
now Present who Saith her Name is Jane Herbert< no role >
and Sent for a Constable who Search'd her and found
Six Guineas and half in Gold and twelve Shillings in Silver
this Informant Asked her how She came by the Money
She Answered her Mistress had left it with her This Informant
Then went to her Mistress Mrs. Pincent at East Place
near Camberwell
and Asked Mrs. Pincut what Money
She left with her Servant meaning the Prisoner who
Said She left her only three Shillings, their Informant
Apprehending that one Elizabeth Stone< no role >
then in the
house could give him some Information Concerning his
Pocket Book Sent for the Said StoneAndwho was Asked by the
Constable
