of No. 1 Little Russel Street Bloomsbury Constable and
John Sayer< no role > of No. 3 Great Earl Street St. Giles's Labourer
taken before me this 26th. day of August 1786

Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Nathaniel Chandler< no role >
says that about ten o'Clock in the morning of Friday the 25th day of
August instant three persons now present who call themselves George
Woolford
< no role > John Batt< no role > and William White< no role > , came to the said
William Masters< no role > Shop and offered to Sell or pledge a Watch, in
a Silver box and tortoiseshell Case makers Name Messrs: Brittan Davizer
No. 6281 row produced-that suspecting them to have stolen the
Same he caused them to be secured-The saidJ Edward Lucas< no role > for
himself saith that between the hours of ten and eleven in the morning
of said Friday the 25th. of August instant he searched the persons of
the said White and Batt in the Shop of the said William Masters< no role >
That he found upon the said White a SilverWatchgilt Watch makers
Name George Willet< no role > No. 1552-a steel Chain, two Metal Keys [..]
a small red Cornelian Seal a steel Seal Impression A. D. a small steel key, a steel bed hook and
a mixture coloured striped silk purse now produced-The said
John Sayer< no role > for himself saith that he was present in the Shop of
said William Masters< no role > in High Holborn aforesaid at the same time
and assisted the said Edward Lucas< no role > -That he found upon the person
of the said George Woolford< no role > a Metal Watch makers Name Richard
Jackson
< no role > London No 2168, a steel Chair, a brass bed hook, an
orange and green mixture coloured purse-a Dollar a crooked
shilling and nine pence three farthings now producedThat he
this Informant the same day searched the Lodgings of the said
William White< no role > in Crown Court Butcher Row , where he found two
Watch Papers or linings a steel Bedhook in the form of aRed
