Confession of John Loyde< no role > taken before
us John Staples< no role > and William Quarrill< no role >
Esquires two of This Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said
County

Who saith that he is a Weaver and lives with his
Father & Mother in Lamb Street Spitalfields has been without
Work for three Months That he was walking about the
Street the wholeabloflast Night and never was in bed
That about one Quarter of an Hour after of our in the Morning
of this day he met the two young Women now prevent
who say their Names are Ann Cowell< no role > and Elizabeth
Thompson
< no role > in Back Lane St George Middlesex InformantExaminant if
he would give them a glass of Ginesa Saith that he gave
them a Glass a piece at a Public house in the Back
Lane aforesaidthat the said two Women then asked him
to take a walk that they all three walked together
town ratcliffe Highway and met the other person now
present who says his Name is John White< no role > coming down
Back Lane aforesaid that they all four went together towards
Ratecliff Highway and as they were walking along a
place there they saw a House with the Window Shutters
open Saith that the said two Women and the said
John White< no role > Asked this Examinant to go into and
Robt. the said House Saith that White lifted up the
Window Shutters and helped this Informant to get
into the said House saith that he gotinto the saidtherein
Houseand found lying on the floor a Quantity of
Wearing apparel Consisting of a Great Coat one Frock
one Blue Waiscoat two Shilling in Money done Womans
Cap that he he gave all the said Things to the said John
