and taken before me Sir Robert Taylor< no role >
Knt one of his MAJESTY's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 16th. Day of June
17 86

Who Confesseth that he hath lived as a Weekly Servant with Edward
Cox
< no role > aforesaid for about a Year that within about three Months Examination
[..] hath stolen in his said Master House a Quantity of Paper of
the writing and printing fort-that at about a Dozen different times [..]
Examinant sold to William Collins< no role > and his Wife now present who
keep a Chandlers Shop in King Street Drury Lane for different sums
of Money, amounting in the whole to about twenty Shillings, a Quantity
of Paper, at the Rate of two pence farthing a pound-that the hath
also at fourofor five different times within three Months sold
several Quires of Paper to one Henry Webb< no role > now present who
keeps a Chandler Shop in Lewkness Lane Saint Giles's for different
sums of Money, amounting to about half a Guinea at same Rate
and further saith thatsaidneither said Collins or Webb asked him
any Questions how he came by said Paper but immediately
paid him the Money agreed upon and at the same time
desired him [..] to bring them moreofPaper of the like Kind, as soon
as he could, and that they the said Collins and Webb would
buy the same, at the same Rate, as they each of them had before done
