Informations of Witnesses severally taken and acknowledg'd
on the behalf of our Sovereign Lord the King touching the
Death of William Anderson< no role > at the Dwelling House of
John Stevenson< no role > known by the Sign of the
Pills head in the Parish of St: Mary le bone
in the County of Middlesex on Wednesday the fifth
Day of July in the twenty sixth Year of the Reign of
our Sovereign Lord George the third, before me Thomas
Phillips
< no role > one of his Majestys Coroners for the said County
on an Inquisition then and there taken on View of the Body
of the said William Anderson< no role > then and there
lying Dead as follow, To wit

William Wilkes< no role > of the Red Lyon Inn out Paddington
Ostler Upon his Oath Saith That on Thursday the
twenty second day of Nine now last oneGippey
a Dustman came across the Road from the Coach
and Horses opposite the Red Lyon to the Horse
trough on which Deponent was learning and the
deceased was standing at a little distance. Saith
That the [..] deceased was also a Dustman
Gippey asked deceased why he did not come
and speak to the Man our the Way
(meaning The Master of The Coach & Homes). deceased
Said it was of no less as he had No money to pay
him-Upon which Gippey Said to him-you
Buggar I'll make you grocer and wrote up to deceased
and stomach him immediately with his double
fist on the Right Side of his head. the deceased
