Middlesex to wit;


The Information of Richard Living< no role > of Drury
Lane Tallow Chandler and James Maitland< no role >
of the same place Cheesemonger taken before me
this 17th. day of June 1786 .

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Richard Living
says that on last Good Friday a Peron now Present who calls himself William Collins< no role > came to his
Shop and asked him if he wanted to buy any Waste Paper; that
on that Day said Collins brought a Quantity of Paper now produced
which Informant bought, that at several other times Collins brought
Paper to him which he also bought at one of which times it was tied with
a Silk rope which he said came from the East Indies with one of
the Bales that he had said paper from a person whose Persquisites
it was who belonged to the India House And that he Collins said One Mr
Brown a Stationer in Cheapside had bought a Quantity of the same
Paper. And the said James Maitland< no role > says that in April last said
Collins came to his Shop two different times and sold him a Quantity
of Paper for which he gave him three pence per Pounds at which times
Collins said it was the perquisite of a Person who belonged to the
India House , And that the Paper now Produced is the sameofhe bought
of said Collins.
