this morning about 9 o'Clock a person now present who calls himself

came to the Banking House of Sir

and Company in Bond Street
and tendered for payment the Draft now
produced, purporting to be the Draft of Robert Evans< no role >
for one hundred
pounds payable to Bearer dated the 17th.. day July 1786 on Messrs. Sir
Herbert Mackworth< no role >
and Company, and saying it was the Note of his
Master Robert Evans< no role >
, that Informant suspecting that said Note had not been
drawn by said Evans he detained it and sent the sum specified therein
by One Cutworth a Clerk in Informant and Company OfficeAnd said

says he did not send the Draft now produced to Sir

and company, and that the signature of Robt. Evans< no role >
wrote thereon is not his hand writtingAnd the said Michael Dunn< no role >
