of the Parish of Stanmore in
the C ounty of Middlesex
; and taken before me Sir Robert Taylor< no role > Knt .
one of his MAJESTY's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 19th Day of December
17 85

Who Confesseth that about four oClock in the afternoon of
Sunday last he this Examinant stole in the Dwelling House
of Richard Gurney< no role > situate at Stanmore in the said County
one silk Petticoat two pillow Cases, a blue silk Gown one
Linen Gowntwo Cotton Gowns, a white quitted Petticoat
a black silk Waistcoat an orange coloured silk Waistcoat
a Kerseymeer Waistcoat and divers other Articles now
producedthat the said Richard Gurney< no role > is his Brother in
law and that he this Examinant was left by his
said Brother in law, last Sunday afternoon, in Care of his
Dwelling House at Stanmore aforesaid
