The Information of John Collins< no role > of Groove
Street Dep Yord Ship weighted taken on
Oath before me two of This Majesty's Justices
of the peace Acting in and for the said
Country the 21st. day of December 1785

Who being on his Oath saith That on Wednesday
Evening the fourteen day of December Instant
[..] having then five fiveteen in a Green Silk
present in his Waistcoat Pocket he went with the
Woman now present who says her Name is Mary
Beamount
< no role > to a House on Salt Petre Bank
in which House he had his pocked picked
of the said Money and purseLastly saith
that no persons was in the Room With this Informant
and the saidwhen he so lost the said Money &
purse but the said Mary Beamount Lastly saith that
he is positive the said Marymustdid Steal
the same as he had but a little while before
shaved her the said five Guineas to Satisfy her
that he had got no Silver and by her soon after
Running away.
