taken this 19 Dec 1785 Who being on Oath Say and
first the said Thomas Berry< no role > for himself Saith the
Iron Maul now produced is his property and left in the
Inclosed Yard of his said Master safe Late night of Wednesday the 14th.
of Decr Inst. Says The Axe now produced was likewise safe
in the said Yard same night about the Hour of Ten when
they left Work Further says Two of The Iron Bolts now produced
were then safe in said Yard which Axe and Two Bolts are
his said Masters propertyWilliam Overton< no role > saith
On Thrsday Morning the 15th. of Decr. Instant about the
Hour of two he Stopped the Prisoner who says his Name
is Charles Lee< no role > in at Harry No 4652 near Leinetole house Stairs in
the said Hamlet of Poplar in Which Wherry were
The Three Iron Bolts now produced: Likewise The said
Maul and Axe were in said Boat which either the said Charles Lee< no role > or his
Companion who escaped throwed Overhead on this
Informants calling for helpSays he took the seed Maul
and Axe out of the Mud when the Side was down the said
MorningWilliam Wilford< no role > Saith On Wednesday the
14th. of Decr. Instant at Dusk in the Evening he left his said
Masters Wherry safe Moored near to his Masters took our
at Debtford aforesaid says at Day light next Morning the
sacd Wharry No.4652 painted Blue on a Red Ground was gone
which Wherry is at this Time near Limachousehole Shirt
aforesaid.
