upon Oath before me this first day of June 1785
Who saith that about four Months since he entrusted Joseph
Parker< no role >
his Servant
with and delivered to him to keep to the use
of this Deponent Sundry Goods and Chattels that is to say Four
Neck Handkerchiefs, A Quantity of Stockings, A Pocket Book
with a Silver Lack, A Pair of Silver Knee Buckles, A livery
Coat with Silver Buttons, another Coat with Plated Buttons a
Surhiot Coat a Silver Laced Hat a Pair of Silver Shoe Buckles
a Metal Vald and Two Gold Seals a Gold Sury
and other things in the whole of the Value of Forty Shillings and
upwards, and that the said Joseph Parker< no role >
hath since quitted
the service of this Deponent and hath gone away with the
several Goods and Chattels aforesaid without Deponents
Licence or Consent and hath not return'd the same or any of act
thereof to Deponent or to any one to his use with intent as
Deponent verily believes to steal the same and defraud
Deponent thereof contrary to the Trust and Confidence to and
in him the said Joseph Parker< no role >
put by this Deponent and
Contrary to the Statute in such Case made and provided
