The Voluntary Information and Confession
of William March< no role > of No. 21 Hanover Street Rotherhithe
in the County of Surry Shipwright Taken this
Eleventh day of April 1785 before me One of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the
said County.

Who being on his Oath Saith that about six weeks
ago, he worked for Mr. Mentone at which time his Father
and him fell into the Dock. That about five weeks ago
he and Edward Glyde< no role > who Dlyed at Fountain Stairs Stole two
Kedge Amhors which they Sold at Mr Grices a Black smith
a Bladnear Rotherhithe Church for £3. That about [..]
Fortnight afterwards he and said Glyde stole a Deal out
of the George in East Lane Rotherhithe which Glyde sold to a
Person in the Maize for a Guinea and Gave him this
Informant half a Guinea. That on Thursday the 26th. day of
March last. he with Glyde and John Grubb< no role > now in Custody
and John Kelly< no role > a Fisherman Stole about 8 of Iron Bars
from an Ironmongers Shop near Fore and Ast. Docks
West Lane Rotherhithe part of which they sold to Mr.
Thorne on the Mill Wall . for 3 Guinears and the other part to
a man at Cock Nett Ratcliff , dealer on Old Iron. That last night
Grubb, Glyde and himself. Stole Iron Bars and Bolts for the
Shop of Mr William Still< no role > and John Taylors< no role > Anchor smiths on Wapping Wall .
and brought to them to New Crane Stairs . in order to Convey them
to some person in Ness Lane. That he understood Mr.
Minetones private Watchman was to receive half a Crown for
Suffering the Goods to remain on Mr. Minctones yard
[..] Saith that about three Weeks ago he on Company with
the said Edward Glyde< no role > Stopped a Man. in Bermondsey road Surry
between Ten and Eleven OClock at night, who resisted and they were
Glad to get away. Further Saith that about a Month ago he and
the said Edward Glyde< no role > attacked a Man about Twelve OClock at right
near Princes Stairs Roth [..] he who they robbed of Eight Shillings
