the PlateThat after fixing the Shears in the Block, Steward took the
Tankard from the Table and hold it whilst Informant cut it with
the ShearsThat his Mistress then wrighed the Pieces and rockon [..]
the Wright with Chalk then took a Purse of Money out of a Drawer
and laid down 31 Guineas on the Table saying to Steward
"There is 31 Guineas" to which Steward replied" there are some
add shillings besides" in answer thereto his Mistress observed
"I went give a Half penny more" and then Informant left the
Room and went down stairs into the Shop. That in a few Minutes
Informant was called again, but by whom he can't say, and went
up into the Kitchen, which is on the One pair of Stairs. where he found
Bill Steward< no role > , Bill Harding< no role > , Harding's Wife Barugh's Mother, when
[..] Steward said to Informant "Jacob You must get change
for a Guinea", giving Informant at the same time a Guinea for that
purposeThat Informant returned with the Change and Steward gave
him an Half Crow piece saying "Jacob there is an half Crown for
you" and then desired Informant to send up "Abey" meaning Abraham

and his Wife went away together and shortly after Steward followed
them.
