The Information of John Martland< no role > of the
Second Troop of Horse Grenadier & Barbara
Armstrong
< no role > taken before me this 26th. Day St
April 1785 .

Who being upon Oath say & first the said John Martland< no role >
for Himself says that on a Monday Night last between the Hours
of Ten or Eleven the met a Woman now present who calls herself
Mary Follows< no role > in Tothill Street that they went together to a Rouse
up the Thorney to Sleep that the said Mary [..] Mons asked this
Informant what Money He had that the answered very little thin
pulled it not of His Pocker [..] connted Seventeen Shillings &
Six Lence Rant Ho [..] the Paid Money into his Breeches under his
Head that the said Mary Follows took the said Breeches from
under his Head Street them mans thir place that She then
refused coming into Bed as he had so much Money in less He
gave her some but at last did get into Bed with her Cloaths on
[..] oon after get up & took this Informants Breeches out of the
Room [..] immediately returned & threw them towards Armd [..] ran
Down Staigs that thre Informant sewiched the Pockets & formd
all his Money gone that Re received four Shillings from a
Woman sent by the said Mary Fellows< no role > that He went down
Stairs & enquired of the Land Lady for the said Mary Fellows
& was told She was gone out that the Landlady went out & in
about five Minutes inturned with the said Mary Fellows< no role >
who said this Informant had given the Five Shillings & She
had returned thin Four Shillings

And Barbara Armstrong< no role > for herself says that last
Night between the Hours of Ten & Eleven the aforesaid John
Maitland
< no role > & Mary Fellows< no role > came to the House of Her Mistress
in the Atmonry to lodge that they went up Stairs & in about Half
an Hour the said Mary Fellows< no role > came down Stairs & being
asked were She was going answered to the next House & said
[..] had got Five Shillings from the Man & offer'd this Informant
[..] breess Half a Crown to Let her out which being refused She
[..] this Informant Four Shillings to carry of Stairs to the said
[..]
