The Information of William Adams< no role > and James Matthews< no role >
taken the 27th day of January 1785 .

Who being on their Oaths say and First the said William Adams< no role >
for himself saith that he Lodges at No. 66 in Rosemary Lane
White Chapel that about the Hour of Eleven last night as he was
going home near to his Lodgings in Rosemary Lane
aforesaid at the Comer of Salt Petre Bank The Person
now present who says her name is Catherine Dick< no role >
and another Woman unknown went Handing there That on
his going by them the said Catherine Dick< no role > put one
of her Arms round this Informants neck andwith on
at the same time put one of her Hands inhis Tothe
Pocket of his Trowsers and took there out one Half
Guinea in Gold one six pence in Silver and Eight
Copper half pence the monies of him this Informant
That finding he was Robbed he seized hold of the
said Catherine Dick< no role > and gave Charge of her to a
watchman who took her to White Chapel Watchhouse
where she was searched, Saith that the Silver Sixpence now
produced by the other Informant James Matthews< no role > is the
property ofsame Sixpence of which he this Informant
was Robbed of as aforesaid

And the said James Matthews< no role > for himself saith that he
searched the said Catherine Dick< no role > in White Chapel
Watch house and found in her Pocket the Counterfeet
ShillingThe Silver Sixpence and the Ten Copper half
pence now by him produced.
