William Chetham< no role > of Falcon Square London Gentleman Solicitor for
the Prosecutor in this Cause maketh oath and Saith that on or about the Sixteenth
Day of December last Michael Mac Mahon< no role > otherwise Michael Johnston< no role > was
committed to the Gaol of Newgate for feloniously uttering and publishing
as true in the City of London a certain false forged and counterfeited Will
Purporting to be the last Will and Testament of one Alexander Black< no role > lated
a Seaman on Board the East India Merchant Ship Barwell Robert
Carr
< no role > Commander in order to receive certain Wages due to him for Service
as a Seaman on board the said Ship well knowing that the said will [..]
forged and counterfeited with Intent to defraud the United Company of
Merchants trading to the East Indies contrary to the Statute as appears
to this Deponent by a Copy of such Commitment And this Deponent
saith that he hath been informed and verily believes that previous to the
Commitment of the said Michael Mac Mahon< no role > otherwise Michael Johnston< no role >
to prison for the Crime aforesaid probate of the said Will had been granted
by the prewgative Court of the Aubbishop of Canterbury to the said Michael
Mac Mohan

And this Deponent saith that he hath been informed and verily believes
that Messrs. Lushington and Heseltine proctors in Doctors Commons are
employed to commence the necessary proceedings in the said prewgative
Court for the Purpose of having the said probate called in and revoled
and that a Citation returnable on the Eighth Day of Januarylast
Instant hath beenJulyissued by the said Prewgative Court for the
Purpose aforesaid and served on the said Michael Mac Mahon otherwise
