taken before us this
19th. day of January 1785
Who being upon Oath say and first the said Thomas Beasley< no role >
for himself says that yesterday Evening about 5 or 6 o'Clock
he knocked at his own Door in King Street
near Grosvenor Square
that whilst he was waiting for the Door to be opened a person now
present who calls himself Henry Jackson< no role >
jumped out of this
Informant's Parlour Window and being pursued in Consequence
of this Informant crying Stop Thief the said Henry Jackson< no role >
was very soon after taken, and the said Elizabeth Beasley< no role >
for herself says that on [..] examining the said Parlour she
found three Petticoats three Gowns a Cloak two Aprons some
Stocking a Coat & Waistcoat & other things scattered about
the floor which said things are the property of herself and
her said Husband and had been stolen part or all of them
out of their back Parlour and they verily believe that
the said Henry Jackson< no role >
is the Person who stole the said
things
