in the County of Middlesex Silversmith Ann

this 17th. day of November 1784

Who being upon Oath Say, and first the said Thomas
Francis
< no role > says, that last Night about 10 o Clock he was stopped
in Bagnigge Wash in the Parish of Saint Pancras by five
Foot pads who robbed him of a Knife two Glass Drops, a Rule
some tacks, and Half penny and a Memorandum Paper now
produced, and some Money; And further says that he is very
sure that five Persons now present who call themselves Thomas
Tabbs
< no role > , John Shaw< no role > , Thomas Buttledore< no role > John Moody< no role > & George
Harris
< no role > are the said Five Foot pads that so robbed him as
aforesaid, for that they were not [..] out of this Informants
sight from the time of their robbing him until they were
apprehendedThe said Francis says that she was with
her said Husband when he was robbed as aforesaid and is
very sure that the said five Persons now present are the
Foot pads that robbed himAnd the said Henry Croker< no role > says
that he with said Pittard and Atkinson apprehended said
Five Persons, about 10 o Clock last Night near Battle Bridge -That
he [..] this Informant on seizing hold of said Buttledore saw him
drop from him said KnifeThe said William Pittard< no role > says that
he found on the Person of the said Tabbs the said two glass drops
Rule and Jacks [..] now producedAnd
