Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex this 27th. day of
December 1784

This Informant upon her Oath saith
that on the 24th. of this Instant December
she had taken from her shop Situate
in old Compton Street , Soho Ten yards
and upwards of black thread lace the
Property of this Said Informant and
Dorothy Hirrel< no role > and that she hath
great reason to believe that Jane
Thacker< no role > did feloniously steal the said
Block thread lace the Same having been
found in the custody of the Said Jane
