The Information of Joseph Lewis< no role > servant to
John Austin< no role > of Crown Lane upper Thames
Street Corn Factor and the said John Austin< no role >
taken before me this 23rd. day of November 1784

Who being on Oath say and first the Joseph Lewis< no role > says that
on Saturday Evening last the 20th. Instant between 6 and 7 o'Clock as he was driving his
Masters Waggon Loaded with Oats in Carey Street Lincoln's Inn
fields he saw a Person now Present who calls himself Charles
Howard
< no role > Run from the tail of said Waggon with a Sack of Oats
on his Back that Informant Pursued him and securedafter
him just after he had thrown said sack down. And the said
John Austin< no role > says that a sack of Oats now produced is his
Property.
