one of the Watchman of Saint Martin in
the fields taken before me this 28th day of
October 1784.

Who being on Oath says that on Monday Morning last the 25 Instant
a litter past 3 o' Clock he heard an Alarm and near Charing Cross he saw two Person now
present who call themselves William Steward< no role > and John Hughes< no role >
when he was [..] Stop them that he assited securing and
Hughes, That after he was secured, he this Informant found a Box of Phospherick Matches< no role >
near the place where said Hughes was secured which he delivered to
Richard Dorrington< no role > one of the Patroles of said Parish.
