The Information of John Sparrow< no role > of
Hunger ford Market Waterman Taken the
24th. day of July 1784

Who upon his Oath Saith That he was Watchman
appointed in his Turn to Attend at a Fire which
happened in King Street Bloomsbury on [..] tuesday
Morning last, That About the hour of One oClock on
Thursday Morning last he was alarmed by the Ringing
of the Watchman Rattles and or Crying out Stop them
That in Company with Two other Waterman They
Stopp'd Two Men in King Street Bloomsbury aforesaid
near to Red Lyon Yard who were Running fast and
endeavouring to make their Escape, That immediately
afterwards a Watchman came up with another Man
who appeared to be very Wet and the said Men were
delivered over in Custody of the Watchmen
That he has this day soon Three Men who say their
Names are Richard Cane< no role > Thomas Watson< no role > and
Robert Tapley< no role > and who are now in Custody and they
are the Identical Persons who were apprehended
in the manner aforesaid
