Saith That on Tuesday last
he was fishing in a Pond in a Field of
his Fathers at the Moat house
at
Tottenham
Called the Pidgeon Field Pond
And found the above mentioned Child
floating in the Pond amongst some
chick, weedThat it Appeared to
Informant to have received a Blow over
one of its Eyes but which in Particular
Informant does not Recollect
That it was quite nakedSaith That
he got it out and gave notice of the Affair
to Mr. Alderman Townsend
Saith he hath no Reason to Suspect any Person
in that Neighbourhood to be the Mother of the Child
