Who saith that on the twenty second Day of March last he
this Examinant paid Joseph Acton< no role >
now present the Sum of
Fifty Pounds viz two Bank Notes of the Value of twenty pounds
each, Nine Guineas and eleven Shillings. That the Notes and Cash
which he so paid to the said Joseph Acton< no role >
, he received at the
Banking House of Messrs. Smith Wright & Gray in Lombard
Street
, upon a Draft of Mrs. Sprigg Shirley< no role >
's of Mile end
Salesman
and which Draft was given to this Examinant by the
Said Mr Shirley about three Weeks or a Months the Sum of Fifty
pounds as aforesaid And further says that he this Examinant
never borrowed aby other Money of the said Mr. Sprigg Shirley
than the Sum of Fifty Pounds before mentioned.
