The Information of
Paul Orchard< no role >
of Chesterfield
Street Esqr
. taken before me one of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County
this 28th. day of May 1784
Who being upon Oath says that last Night about 12 o'Clock as
he was coming out of the Pentheon
in Oxford Street
his Pocket
was feloniously picked of Gold Watch with a Chain and Seals
that a person now present who calls himself John Neale< no role >
was close
to this Informant when he perceived his Watch being drawn
from his Pocket, that strongly respecting the said John Neale< no role >
to be the person who was picking his Pocket he seized the said
John Neale< no role >
by the Collar upon which the said John Neale< no role >
dropt the said Watch and this Informant stooped to have picked
it up but believes some other person sucteted it up, and
this Informant is thoroughly convinced that the said John Neale< no role >
is the Person who feloniously stole the said Watch
