Touching divers Felonies Committed by him William
Tuckey
< no role > and Francis Gardner< no role > Taken this Sixth day of
March 1784 Before us Peter Greene and John Woodham< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County Who being upon
Oath Saith That about Five Weeks ago He in Company with
William Tucker< no role > and Francis Gardner< no role > Went in two Werrys about
Two O Clock in the Morning to a Road Near the Kings Mills at
Rotherhithe in the County of Surry and Stole in a Barge Saying
at the said Road about a Dozen and half of Whole Deals and
Row'd away with the same to Cole Stairs in the County of Middlesex
but suspecting some Officers was coming they all ran away
left the Boats adrift and never heard what became of them or
the Deals afterwards and this Informant Saith That on Saturday
the 21st of Feby. Last about Nine O Clock in the Evening He together
with the said William Tuckey< no role > and Francis Gardner< no role > Went in
a Ballast Boat to the Road of Mr. Neale near Bell Warf
Shadwell and Stole in a Barge Laying there about Nine
Bushells of Coals the property of the said Mr. Neale Landed of
Cole [..] Stairs where they saw Thomas Mc. Gee and a Man of
the Name of Pat They Sold the said Coals to Thomas Mc. Gee
Pat being Present for the sum of Five Shillings and Six pence which Money the said Mc Gee paid to the said Turkey
and the Said Coals was Carryed out of the Boat by the said
Pat and others to the Shed of the said Thomas Mc. Gee in
Labor in Vain Street. And this Informant Saith That He
together with William Tuckey< no role > and Francis Gardner< no role > have
Several times Sold Coals they had before Stolen to the said
Thomas Mc. Gee and another Man of the Name of Pat but
at what times this Informant does not now Remember
And Further Saith That about One O Clock in the Morning
of the 4th. of March Instant He together with William Fackey
and Francis Gardner< no role > Now Present Went to New Crane
When they found a Werry a shore which they all three went
into and Row'd to Wapping New Stairs and finding Nothing
