This Informant upon his Oath saith that on
Friday Night the thirteenth day of February
Inst. between the hours of One and two of the Clock

brought to the
Lodging of this Informant in the Bawling Alley
Turnmill Street
Clerkenwell
Three Pieces of Beef
and desired he would take Care of it until the
Morning and then they went away. That the next
Morning the said John Edwards< no role >
came again to
this Informant and offered him one of the Pieces for
taking Care of it but when this Informant came
to examine it he thought by the appearance of [..]
it The said Beef appeared to be Stolen that he
then went and told the sameBixbyto the said

who acknowledged to this Informant
that it was taken from the Slaughter house of James
Bradbury< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.

Informant further saith that while he was gone
out about some business the said Three pieces of
Beef were taken away from his lodging That
he then went and acquainted Mr. George Baxter< no role >
of Cow Cross
