The Information of Jesseythe Wife of
Thomas Graniger of Johnsons Change Rosemary
Lane in the said County Vict. and Elizabeth
Hanwell< no role > Servant to the said Thomas Grainger< no role >
taken [..] before [..] us two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County
this 10th. day of December 1783

Who being on their Oaths say And first the said Elizabeth
Hanwell< no role > for herself saith That between the Hours of Seven
and Eight o'Clock this Evening the person now present
who says his Name is Samuel Harrison< no role > came into her Masters
House in Johnsons Change Rosemary Lane Afsd. and Ordered
this Informant to Draw him a pint of Beer, That there is
a Window at the Head of her Masters Cellar Stairs
which looks into the Bar and as she was going down
Stairs to Draw the said Beer she saw the said Samuel
Harrison< no role > (Thro' the said Window) go into the said Bar and
take out the Till and carry the same towards them
Back Door, upon which this Informant told her Mistress
who was Sitting by the fire in the Tap room who went
up to himthe said Saml Harrison< no role > and took the said Till from him Saith that
she saw a Quantity of Silver and half pence in the
said Till.

And this Informant Jessey Grainger for herself saith
That being Informed by the said Elizabeth Hanwell< no role >
Servant to her Husband the said Thomas Grainger< no role > that
the said Samuel Harrison< no role > had taken the Till out of the
Barr upon which she followed him into the Passage and
took the said Till from out of his Hands lastly saith with the said
Till Contains Eighteen Shillings and three pence half Penny
in Half Penny's Nine pence half penny in farthings and
Nine Shillings in Silver and is the property of her Husband
